Terms of Use and Sale

Last updated 15 Jun 2026

These terms govern your use of the Omnitronix website and any sale of parts to you. By using this site or requesting a quote, you agree to them. They are read together with our Privacy Policy.

Scope

This website lets you browse our catalogue of genuine VDO and Lovato parts and send us a quote enquiry. There is no online checkout here. We confirm orders by quote, so a price you see on the site is an invitation to enquire, not a binding offer to sell.

Quotes and orders

When you send an enquiry, we reply with a quote setting out the parts, pricing, stock position and lead time. A quote is indicative and valid for the period stated on it. An order is only confirmed once we accept it in writing and you accept the quoted terms. Until then, either party may decline.

Pricing and VAT

Prices on this site are shown excluding VAT, with a smaller line showing the price including VAT for reference. Value-Added Tax at 15% is added where it applies, in line with South African law, and the total payable is set out on your quote and tax invoice. Prices may change before an order is confirmed, for example if a supplier price or exchange rate moves.

Stock and lead times

Stock levels and lead times shown on the site and on a quote are indicative and subject to availability at the time of order. Fast-moving lines are usually held locally, while other parts may carry a lead time. We confirm the current position on your quote and let you know if anything changes before dispatch.

Delivery

We deliver across South Africa and the wider SA + SADC region. Delivery is free on orders over R 5 000 (excluding VAT); below that, a delivery fee is quoted with your order. Delivery times depend on the courier and destination. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Returns and warranty

Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) apply and are not limited by these terms. Genuine parts carry the manufacturer's warranty against defects. If a part is defective, contact us and we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund as the law and the warranty allow.

Where a return is not due to a defect, please contact us first. Parts must be unused, in their original packaging and in a resaleable condition. Special-order items may not be returnable. We will explain what applies to your order before you commit.

Acceptable use of the site

You may use this site to browse parts and contact us for legitimate business purposes. You may not interfere with the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use it in a way that breaks the law. The content, catalogue data and branding on the site belong to us or our principals and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.

Limitation of liability

We take care to keep the information on this site accurate, but we do not warrant that it is complete or error-free, and specifications can change. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under South African law, including under the CPA.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last reviewed. The version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
